Monstock allows you to store your products and equipment on different branches, in order to know in real time the state of your different storage places. If necessary, it is possible to delete a branch on which you no longer need to monitor the stocks of your products.
To do this, some prerequisites are necessary: delete the stocks of products on the branch locations, delete the locations and delete the branch from the users' access.

Delete stocks from the branch
First of all, there must be no more products in stock on the branch, not even in 0 quantities. You must therefore first delete the stock on the products or equipments on the branch that you want to delete. You can either validate an empty inventory to set the site inventory to 0 as shown in this tutorial (Reset the quantities of a branch to 0, fastest method) or make inventory adjustments on each product as shown below. To do this, start by going to your branch list. Start by going to the list of your locations.
Enter your branch in the branch selector on the list of locations.
The list of locations of the branch shows you, in the columns "Products nb" and "Equipments nb", if there are products or equipments in stock on the location. This allows you to see which products need to be removed from the stock. To do this, click on "See" (green eye) on the products or equipments on your location.
Once you are on the list of your products or equipments in stock on the location, click on the one you want to delete the stock.
When you are on the page of your product / equipment, go to the tab "Location".
Press the "Less" button on your location to set the stock on this product or equipment to 0.
Make a stock adjustment as indicated here.
Once the quantity in the location is at 0, you must delete the stock line of the product in the location using the red button at the end of the location line. Repeat the operation for all the locations of the branch if the product is in several locations on the branch you want to delete. This way, the branch should no longer appear in the "Location" tab of the product.
Repeat the operation for all the products / equipments in stock on this location. You can check, from the list of locations, that there are no more product or equipment in stock, even at 0, on the locations of the branch.

Delete the locations from the branch
Now you have to delete the locations from the branch that you want to delete. Go to the list of locations.
Select your branch again at the top.
Once the branch locations are displayed, click the "Delete" button to remove all your locations. If you have multiple locations on a branch, repeat this process as many times as necessary.
-
Remove the branch from your users' access
Once you have deleted your locations, you can go to the Administration menu at the top right of your screen. You need to make sure that the branch is not in the access of your users (in the allowed branches, in the default branch, etc.).
Go to the "Users" tab and click on the user card of your choice. Once you are on your user card, go to the "Access" tab.
Go to the bottom of the "Access" tab. Delete the branch you want to delete from the authorizations.
-
Delete the branch
Once you have completed these steps, you can now go to the list of branches.
Find the branch you want to delete and click on the red button on the far right.
This informational message will appear, even if you have already deleted all the locations. Click on OK.
If some users still have this branch in their access, the following message will appear.
Otherwise, your branch is deleted.
