Create a new handling unit and associate it with product to simplify your next packings.

• From the "Handling unit" menu :

To create a new handling unit, click on "Stocks" on the left side navigation pane, and then on "Handling unit" :

The list of handling unit is displayed. Click on "Create" at the top right :

A form allowing you to create a new handling unit is displayed. You can add a barcode to your handling unit :

You can add a label :

A reference :

Choose a status : 

You can also choose the type of handling unit, that you will have created beforehand (see our tutorial for more information) :

At the bottom of the page, you will find the "Related products" section. A product related to a handling unit will be automatically assigned to the handling unit during the packing of the order. You can use the barcode, the reference or the label of the product to add it in the list of related products. You can also adjust the expected quantity on the handling unit :

To save the creation of your new handling unit, click on "Save" : 

• From an order :

You can also create a new handling unit from a client order, during the preparation or a supplier order, during the reception.

You need to start by creating your order as usual, then proceed to prepare or receive it.

Once this step is complete, click on "Packing" at the end of the page :

A new window is displayed, with all the receptions that you completed. Click on "Pack" :

A new window opens. To create a new handling unit not existing at this stage, click on "Create" at the end of the window :

A new window opens, with the list of all the types of handling unit that you have created. Select the quantity of each type of handling unit you want to create and then click on "Validate" :

Your new handling unit is now created, you can edit its reference and label, and choose its location :

You can then complete the preparation or the reception of your order by ending your packing.

Note : The products you assign to and handling unit during the packing will be added by default to the list of related products of this handling unit. During the next packing you will proceed with this handling unit and those products, they will be automatically associated.

• From the mobile app

• From an order

You can create a new handling unit from a client order, during the preparation or a supplier order, during the reception from you mobile.

You need to start by creating your order as usual, then proceed to prepare or receive it.

On the file of your order, go on the "Transaction" tab to find details about preparations or receptions. Select those you want to pack, then click on "Pack" :

The handling units screen is displayed. To create a new handling unit, click on "+" at the bottom right of the screen :

A new window opens with the list of the types of handling units that you have configured. Adjust the quantity of the handling unit(s) you want to create :

Select the location of this handling unit :

You can also edit its code, label and reference :

Note : The products you assign to and handling unit during the packing will be added by default to the list of related products of this handling unit. During the next packing you will proceed with this handling unit and those products, they will be automatically associated.
