Activate handling unit on incoming and outgoing flux and also the generation of their identification code (SSCC code).

You can only set up your handling units from the web version of Monstock.

• Set up handling units

You can set up the codes automatically generated by Monstock for your handling units.

Monstock supports the SSCC (Serial Shipping Container Code) format, a unique identifier will be generated for each handling unit you create. This code consists of two parts : a fixed part (GS1 company prefix) and a variable part, to identify the handling unit.

To enter your GS1 company prefix, go to the general preferences, in the Administration menu. Open it by clicking on the following button :

Click on "General preferences" :

Go on the "Settings" tab :

Scroll the page until you reach the "Handling units" part. You can then enter the prefix of your SSCC codes :

• Activate handling units on a branch

To set up a branch to activate handling units, you need to go on the list of your branches. Click on "Branches/Location" ans then on "List branches" on the left side navigation pane :

Click on the  button on the line of the branch on which you want to add handling units :

Once the file of your branch is displayed, go on the "Flux" tab :

You will be able to set up incoming and outgoing flux. To activate handling units for those flux, click on the corresponding button. You can choose to only activate handling units for one type of flux :

To save your changes, click on "Save" at the bottom of the page :
