Monstock allows you to manage your Urban Hub orders in a simplified way.
To create an Urban Hub order, you must first create an Urban Hub delivery type.
The steps for creating an order in an Urban Hub are identical to those for creating a simple sales order but adding a few additional steps.
In order to create an Urban Hub order, you must first pay attention to the following points :
- The type of delivery used must correspond to an Urban Hub delivery method (go to our tutorial to learn how to manage your delivery types),
You can also choose the configuration of your type of delivery:
- Hub Delivery,
- Delivery without Hub,
- Click and collect,
- Delivery with Hub.
Once this step is complete, the status bar will update to add a new "Ready to Go" status to your order :
- Handling units must be activated for preparation at the site concerned by the order (see how to activate handling units at a site).
-
Manage sites and locations in Urban Hub
It is essential that you pay attention to the type of distribution.
There are 4 :
- Store
- Hub
- Vehicles (e.g. shuttle vehicles)
- Factory
For delivery to an urban hub, it is important to carefully select the type of warehouse.
-
Retrieve an order from an external system
If your Monstock account is connected to an ERP, CRM, Ecommerce solution, or any other solution allowing you to retrieve orders in Monstock from external systems, the orders will be synchronized in your Monstock account.
You can then manually assign the type of delivery from the order form :
It is also possible to automatically assign a type of delivery according to your management rules. Calculations will then be made to choose the delivery method as well as the associated carrier, among those recorded in your company's database.
-
Preparation of the order and packing
Once your order has been confirmed, proceed to its preparation,
You can thus manage the number of trolleys, number of pallets or number of bins in your order.
Take advantage of receiving an alert when a vehicle is full to inform you that a vehicle must leave. A trigger rule allows you to receive an email once the threshold provided has been completed.
Then to its packaging. During packing you can select or add desired handling units. Once the packing is complete, click on validate.
- Receipt of the order in an urban hub
Once your Urban Hub has received the trolleys / pallets or bins, you can scan the products to find the order from the Monstock mobile.
Thanks to the Monstock solution you can obtain a delivery slip or delivery label.
-
Organization of tours (Mapotempo connection)
All you have to do from Monstock is to export your orders to be delivered by providing the address, site and contact details required to send the order.
This export in our solution allows you to have an optimized view of the routes (purchase orders, delivery to delivery people, routes, etc.). If you change vehicle or other, Monstock allows you to modify the coordinates of the identifiers of the tour, license plate and vehicles.
Mapotempo then allows you to export them to optimize the routes and to benefit from a dispatch on the MapoTempo mobile applications which then generate a printout of the tour voucher for delivery to the deliverers.
MapoTempo allows you to view the distance traveled, to export the routes with the order numbers, for updating in Monstock the route numbers of each order (delivery person, vehicle, etc.).
Once the Mapotempo data has been exported, all you have to do is import it into Monstock. The addition of route identifiers will then be done automatically.
Once your delivery has been made, you can obtain a confirmation signature thanks to the handling units present in the Monstock solution which allows you to benefit from a global vision of your route management.
-
Return delivery
Once the suppliers return to the Hub, the process is finalized by receiving the instructions. You can scan the instructions to find the order from the Monstock mobile. You can also close the order by entering the route on Monstock directly.
enter in Monstock, the return of the positive or negative instructions. The delivery person will also sign on the return delivery.
