Move to buffer zone

When preparing your orders by wave (see our tutorial Preparation of orders by wave), you may need to move all the necessary products to a buffer location before preparing these orders. Thus, afterwards, you only have to validate the preparation of the orders, the products will be taken from this buffer location. 

To do this, you must choose, on the site, which location will be used as a buffer zone. 

• Set up the site and define a buffer zone location

Once on the site you have chosen, go to the "feed" tab of the site edition page.

Then go to the "Sessions" section.

At this point you should choose the option "Buffer zone" in the preparation algorithm. Then you can select the location just above.

• Generating a Session with a Move to Buffer

Once you have defined the location, you can generate a session for the orders from that site. This will automatically create a move with the products needed to prepare the session, to the location you have defined as a buffer. So, before preparing the session, you need to validate the corresponding move. Find it in the Stocks/Movement menu. 

All you have to do is validate your move and prepare your wave of customer orders.
