Manage the stock levels of your lots (with expiration dates) with the five management methods : FIFO, LIFO, weight average unit cost, FEFO, and NIFO.
To manage your lots and expiration dates, you need to first activate the traceability on your general settings.

Activate the traceability of a product
To activate the traceability of a product, go on its product file. Click on the "Settings" tab :
To activate the traceability, click on this button :
Note : Two windows will successively open to ask confirmation. Activate traceability can't be reverted, a lot will be created for each site with existing relocation.
Once the management by batches is activated, Monstock will propose to you to indicate the duration of expiry (in days). The solution will use the number of days entered in Monstock to automatically calculate the expiration date when creating a new batch for a product.

Order traceable products
Place your order as usual, indicating the site and the supplier :
Add the products concerned to your order, and finalize your order :
When receiving the order, you will be able to choose the lot in which you place the product :
You can divide the products between multiple lots :
Note : Lots aren't multi-site, you can only access the lots on the site concerned by the order.
If you decide to create a new lot, a new window will opens, allowing you to choose the code of the lot, indicate if the lot is perishable or not, and enter its perishable date :

Lots creation/adjustment
You can create or adjust lots directly from the product file. Click on the "Location" tab and then on "Adjust the stock level" :
A new window opens :
By selecting the site on which you want to adjust stocks and location, you will be able to access the already existing lots.
To create a new lot, you just have to enter the code/name of the lot in the "Lots" box. You can then indicate if the lot is perishable and its perishable date if applicable :

When preparing an order, if you have multiple lots for a product, you can choose in which lot you take the products for your order :

During an inventory, if you have lots products, remember to carefully select which lot the products you want to add to the inventory are from, in order to be able to ensure that you have inventoried all the lots :

When performing a stock movement of products in lots, remember to carefully select which lot the products you want to move are from :

Perform a production with products in lots
When performing a production, if the necessary products are in lots, you will have to select the lot in which you take the products :
You will also have to select in which lot you want to add the finished product if the finished product is a traceable product :

List of perishable products
To find the list of perishable products and all the perishable dates, click on "Reporting" in the left side navigation pane and then choose the "Expiration date of products" report :
So you get a report with a countdown of the remaining days before the expiration date :

List of lots
To find the list of your lots of traceable products, click on "Stocks" and then on "Lots/Traceability" in the left side navigation pane :
So you get the list of your lots and traceable products :
By clicking on a lot, you will display its informations, and you will be able to edit them :

From the mobile app
From your mobile application, you can receive an order of traceable products.
To do this, you need to access the order you wish to receive from the home screen, by clicking on "Reception", then select your order on the list:
The list of products to be receiving is displayed. Click on the "+" button to select the location :
To assign a lot to the product, choose an existing lot from the list, or create one:
You have the possibility of dividing the products received into several lots, located in several locations inside the same branch :
Note : The lots are not multi-sites.
Confirm the receipt of your order :
