Monstock allows you to assign statuses to your products, lots and locations. These statuses can be locked or not, in order to allow you to correctly manage your stocks according to the needs of your business.
To use specific stocks, you must first have assigned statuses to your products.
When you assign a status to a product, it will be automatically assigned to each quantity of product of that type, on all the locations where it is present.
If you want to change the status of a product without performing a receipt or movement / transfer, then you will need to use the specific stocks function.
-
Consult specific stocks:
To do this, go to the “Stocks” menu from the left side menu, then click on “Specific stocks”:
The list of specific stocks contains 2 tabs:
- Activities: this tab brings together the various activities carried out on specific stocks such as supplier orders, sales orders, transfers / trips or even stock adjustments:
- Stocks: this tab lists all specific stocks by product, with their status, contact and related project, site and location:
-
Modify a specific stock:
If you want to change the status of a product without receiving or moving / transferring it, go to the specific stocks, in the “Stocks” tab, then click on the line of the specific stock you want to change. A new window opens, allowing you to modify the allocation of the specific stock:
- The original stock corresponds to the specific stock in the current state when you want to modify it,
- The destination stock corresponds to the specific new stocks that you are going to create.
You have the possibility to modify one or more information of your destination stock among the contact / related project, the status, the site or the location of the product. You will then have to specify the quantity of product affected by this change of assignment.
You can add new destination stocks by clicking on the "Add" button.
Once your modifications are complete, click on "Validate" to save your changes.
You can then find this activity in the "Activities" tab of specific stocks, and see these new specific stocks in the list in the "Stocks" tab.
