On Monstock, you have the possibility to set up your products according to different types, in particular the kits. This type of product allows you to group several products into one, for a box for example or for a set of parts. The kits can be managed with or without stock:
- Managed bundles with stock: it allows you to launch a production directly from the finished or semi-finished product page,
- Bundles managed without stock: it allows you to add a bundle to a customer order and to find the products that compose it during the preparation.
Before you create your bundle, make sure the products you want to link to it already exist on Monstock.
To create a bundle, go to the "Products" menu, then click on "New product".
At the product type level, select the "bundle" type.
Create your bundle in the same way as any other product, by filling in its information (name, code, reference, supplier, etc.). Once created, you can choose to manage it with or without stock.

Managed bundle with stock
The managed bundle with stock allows you to launch a production of this bundle, in order to increment the stock, directly from the product page. To do so, you need to create a production type (see our tutorial Using the production feature, feature available only in our Enterprise package).
By clicking on the "Create build" button, you can start a new production. All you have to do is select the site where you want to increment the stocks of the kit in question, select the type of production you have created before and choose the locations (and possibly batches and serial numbers) where to consume or create the input and output quantities.

Bundle managed without stock
The bundle managed without stock allows to add a kit in a customer order and to find the products which compose it during the preparation.
To do this, at the bottom of the page of your bundle product, you can link products by indicating the quantity contained in the bundle.
At the time of preparation, Monstock proposes to prepare the products contained in the bundle according to the number of bundles ordered (quantity of the kit ordered X quantities of the products linked to the bundle). In your order and your documents (invoice, delivery note), it is the bundle that appears.
When you prepare the order, it will be the products of the bundle that will be prepared.
Note: If you want to change from a bundle with stock to a bundle without stock, your product must be out of stock at any site and location.
