On Monstock, once you have collated your customer orders, you can perform the consolidation, which is the unification of packages. This functionality allows you to group several packages of an order in the same set.
- Setting up your site
To activate the consolidation, go to the list of your sites.
Select your site and go to the "Feeds" tab.
In the "Preparation settings" section, you must activate the "order consolidation" parameter.
For the consolidation step to appear on your orders, you must have set your picking method to "zone and batch picking" ( our tutorial on picking methods) :
Once your site is set up in this way, you can then proceed with the consolidation of your customer orders.
- Packing of your order
For an order to be collated, it must have been prepared in a "manual preparation" session (see our tutorial on wave picking ).
Once in the list of sessions, you can start a new one or take an existing one that has not yet been prepared.
You can prepare your session, then pack each order (see our tutorial on picking orders ).
Once the order has been prepared and packed, you can consolidate it. To do so, click on the "Preparation" button at the bottom of the order.
Here you can select the packages you wish to consolidate.
Notes: Once a package is consolidated, it cannot be consolidated again. It is possible to perform several consolidations on one order.
Once the packages are selected, you will find them on the left side of this screen. Here, it is also possible to modify the packages (change a product in a package, change the quantity of the product in a package, delete a product or a package).
If all the packages are correct on the right, you can validate the consolidation.
Once the consolidation is validated, you can find all the package labels by going back to the packing window, via the "Packing" button at the bottom of the order.
On the package labels, you will find the customer's name, address, the total number of packages and the weight of the package.
